Planting fruit trees got me thinking about how nature operates. I’m amazed how a dormant tree with only a few roots can grow five feet taller in only a few months. With proper pruning, fruit trees can produce an abundant harvests in a few years.
In the personal growth area, it’s always planting season. I recently chose to attend Tony Robbins’ signature 6-day growth event—Date With Destiny, well worth the price tag.
I was jumping up and down to 90 decibel music while being pushed me into major transformations. Despite the music, it’s a nurturing environment and I reaped a bountiful harvest—Thanks Tony!
The Federal Reserve (Fed) handles our economic growth and is pruning out-of-control inflation by raising interest rates. They have our economic growth in mind when they suggest that “It’s time to tighten your spending…” It’s the same as when a gardener prunes a fruit tree, or a coach pushes you to exercise.
The lesson from all these situations is the same. During “slow times,” or “winter,” that’s the time to plan (or plant) seeds for the future. What this looks like for you depends on your life circumstances. It could include planting an orchard, taking a personal growth seminar, or investing in your home or real estate investments.
I’m here to help whether it’s time to prune, plant, or plan. Call me!
